The Hancock Hotel will be in the line of totality for the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, meaning we will be one of the few places in the world where the sun is 100 percent blocked by the moon for a short period of time.

Sunday, April 7   -   6 - 10 p.m.

Kick-off this once in a lifetime event with a welcome party at the Hancock Hotel. In addition to heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, we are also excited to partner with RooBarb Studios, a unique Findlay gift shop, selling locally created eclipse jewelry and other mementos. Back in the ballroom visit the Hancock Park District's mobile planetarium, be entertained by The Magic of Nathaniel (a local magician) and commemorate the experience with a photo in the Floral City Images and Photography photo booth.

The party is open to both guests of the Hancock Hotel and the general public. We look forward to celebrating the 2024 Solar Eclipse with you!
